I've been freelancing for 1.5 years and it has been a great experience for me. I resigned from a governments oil company with no next destination in mind, lol. I started to work for my mentor startup and then an offer came from my friend to work for Australian startup. There have been many "damn I don't know this stuff, but f*ck it I'll do it anyway" moment. Forced to become better.
My income has become really weird. I can earn as much as 3x my previous salary to get nothing at all. This makes me really think about how people generate money from software. To see this as a business instead of shinny tech stack. Also I just realize what Elon Musk said about money: it's just a database of the exchange of value. The more wealthy you are the more value that you have and can trade (people need this value).
Next plan is to build more business from my skills. I think it's a perfect time for me to do this. I can just search for job and freelance whenever I need money. Other than that I should focus on building my value.
That's it, see you later.
